What I wore: Easter weekend

Hey Guys, I hope you're all having a lovely Thursday, it being my payday I am having a verrry nice one. I'm working nights at the moment (hence why this post will be a lot shorter than my usual ones, this is my morning and I have a banging headache, so bare with me) so I am living in hoodies, leggings and tracksuits (basically nothing worth blogging about). So when I got the chance, having the weekend off, to actually wear something other than my comfies I was never happier to do so.

On Easter Sunday I wore my new favourite shirt from Penneys, its so pretty and I'm a sucker for anything with a high neck. I paired it with a pair of grey loafers from Zara that, surprisingly, didn't cut the ankles off me and a pair of trousers from Penneys that were so comfy. I also succeeded at curling my hair and having it actually look decent and not like ringlets (baby steps).

On Monday I took a trip into town with my friend for some shopping and food which is kinda our 'thing', it was so nice and warm out, sunny days in town are just the best. I wore my new lilac cut out top from Penneys which is in stock now and was only €6! I wore it with Ripped jeans from Topshop with fishnets, a denim jacket from Penneys, boots from Bershka and my Aluxe sunnies! If you couldn't already tell, I'm quite the fan of double denim.

Off I go and get into yet another hoodie and pair of leggings for another night, dreaming of actually getting to wear decent clothes on a daily basis again and getting through the next week and a half, I know, I'm not dramatic at all...

Until next time, Lots of Love,

Charleen x

Inspired in Orange

  Jumper & Shorts- Both Zara
Lipstick- Jeffree Star cosmetics 'Flamethrower'
Hey Guys, I haven't posted in a while, for no reason other than a bit of writers block I guess, its easy to keep pushing away things that need to be done that you don't particularly want to do at the time. I never want to post or write anything that I amn't enjoying writing, because I think that comes across to the reader and they'll just lose interest right? I don't ever want to write something fake and I don't want my blog to become a chore, after all its a hobby that you're supposed to enjoy. Anyway my writers block has been lifted so enough of that.
This week I'm feeling very inspired by putting things into perspective. Just seeing little things that made me realise that there actually is some good left in the world and I put my own life into perspective and seen how lucky I really am. (my poor boyfriend had to listen to me have this epiphany yesterday and was very confused as to where these feelings were coming from).

A big thing that inspires me is seeing people do things that are kind and things they didn't necessarily have to do. I was sat on a bus this week and an old man asked the bus driver where a certain bus stop was, the driver was rude about it and just acted like he didn't have the time for him, a young guy who seen this got up and showed the old man where it was and it was just such a decent thing to do, people on the bus said fair play to him and he just said how he would hate if someone treated his grandfather like that. I think the few people on the bus at the time were in some way inspired by that, and here I am a week later writing about it, just a small act of kindness that might have made at least one person pass it on.

I also felt really inspired by a Woman I met while working, we were chatting and she told me about how she is self employed and told me about her job (not to mention she had a Gucci bag that I am dreeeaming about) and it just got me thinking about how much I want that in the future. I always think its so inspiring to meet someone so young doing so well for themselves and it motivates me to work harder and just dream bigger really..

I think that setting goals and being motivated towards something be it a blog, a course or the gym is so important for a healthy mind and it gives you a reason to get up and work towards something each day.
So that's my bit of Monday motivation for today, I'm feeling super positive and I love it!
I hope you all have an amazing week,
Lots of love,
Charleen x
